Wake up and go to work, Think Differently Today!
Posted on October 31, 2007
Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!
Your alarm clock goes off.
You fumble around to hit the snooze button…
Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!
You roll over, turn the alarm off, and crawl out of your bed.
You say to yourself, “Awe, I have to wake up and go to work.”
Think Differently Today
I ran across an interesting article on a blog yesterday and have decided to participate in the challenge presented by the author Peter. Peter, author of I will change your life, recently wrote an article “The Think Different Challenge”. The challenge is to write about something that we think negatively of in our life and how we can THINK DIFFERENT!
What if we all, just for grins and giggles, changed the way we think of getting up and going to work each day. How positive would the highways be! No more horns honking, fingers flying, or throwing yours hands up in the air in disgust. The way we wake up in the morning sets the tone for the rest of our day. If you wake up unhappy and miserable your day will follow your lead and be miserable. If you wake up and stump your toe your day will usually go that way. Well, it works the same way if you are positive. If you wake up and give thanks that you are here, your day will be blessed. If you wake up and know that “this will be a great day”, your day will be “great”. Our work places would be much more enjoyable if we all wake up and go to work with a positive attitude. Imagine walking in to work and everyone has a smile on their face. Imagine everyone greeting you with a warm hand shake and a “how are you this morning”. Things could be so different if we would just THINK DIFFERENT!
Lastly, I would like to thank Peter for throwing out such a great challenge to the world. This is a wonderful challenge that everyone should practice each day.

Hi Brad,
I’d be honored to participate in this “Think Different” Challenge. I will try to have a post ready by tomorrow evening. Have you checked out the “Pink Rotaters” that Scott and I have finally been able to make available to help both shoulder patients and breast cancer research?
I noticed “Quantum Success” by Sandra Anne Taylor in your sidebar. Without a doubt, one of the best books that I have ever read on the subject.
I love the direction that your blog has taken, and apparently so do others, based on the huge jumps you’ve been making lately in the Alexa rankings. Keep it up.

Hi Brad,
Thanks for stepping up to the Think Different Challenge. I LOVE the article. Since I started on my personal development journey I have done a complete rethink of my mornings. Once upon a time I would hit the snooze button until the very latest time I possibly could. Now I wake up at 5am most day excited about the day ahead.
Peter
ps I stumbled your article and have added it to the list on my site
